Recommended 3D Printers

If you're new to 3D printing and want an easy guide to a reliable and simple-to-use printer, this list is for you. All of the printers listed below are from the only brand I currently use and recommend: Bambu Lab.

I personally use the Bambu Lab X1C and H2D with the AMS systems.

Entry-Level / Budget Friendly Printer

Bambu Lab A1

The A1 is great for beginners or hobbyists on a budget. It has a large print volume, operates quietly, and most importantly it's affordable. Though this is a beginner printer, it creates high-quality prints very reliably, making it one of the best choices for this price.

Mid-Level Printers

Bambu Lab P1S & P1S with AMS

P1S – This printer can print faster than the A1 and is fully enclosed for a more controlled printing experience.  This is the most affordable Bambu Lab CoreXY enclosed printer, which makes it a strong starting point.

P1S with AMS – This version adds multi-color printing and can store filaments in a sealed environment. The AMS (Automatic Material System) keeps your filament dry using desiccant slots. When outfitted with a hardened nozzle and extruder, this printer combo is a strong workhorse for serious hobbyists or small businesses.

The newer Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro can actually dry your filament and provides easier access to internal tube routing for any troubleshooting. (You are not able to dry filament while the printer is running, however).

High-End Printers

Bambu Lab X1C and H2S

(Note: If your country has access to the new P2S, this may be a better option to the X1C. It has improvements such as better flowrate control along with faster nozzle changes.)

X1C - The X1C is the next step up from the P1S. It has everything the P1S has (fast printing and an enclosed design), but it adds has hardened components by default, a better user interface, and AI-assisted features. The AI assisted camera can detect print issues in real time, reducing wasted filament.

H2S - This printer is ideal if you need a larger print area or want a pathway to take on more advanced projects with potential laser upgrades. The H2S also has a plethora of sensors and AI-assisted print monitoring to help avoid errors.
